This is The End… FINE! is a video entirely composed of the end credits of Italian films from the 1950s and 60s. It is the period when "Fine" (Italian) / "The End" (English) was still widely used as a formal and ‘normal’ way to announce the conclusion of a film. The Italian word "Fine" means the end in English, which somehow creates an irony and a sense of humour that even though it is the end, we just accept it and take it gently without too much sorrow or complaint.

Dozens of the end credits have been edited and arranged in a way that a series of events and stories are created in the video. The beginning starts with the void, the text, and the question. More figurative images and scenes appear afterward, from the rural to the city, from accidents to funerals, from a baby to a child, and from love to marriage… All seems to be answering that they are still in good shape. Every moment could be the end, though there is always a new beginning afterwards.
